Church Intern

Hi, my name is Jasper (Jas) and I’m the new intern at Wonersh Church. I’ll be working part-time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays). I'm here to assist in the life, work and ministry of Wonersh Church, particularly supporting ministry to children, young people and their families, whilst participating in the Guildford Diocese ‘First Timer’s Course'.  I’m very excited to get started and to get to know everyone in our congregation.

I’ve been asked to write a little bit about myself so I thought I would give you a brief summery of my life so far. I was born in Guildford and lived in Bramley until I was 5, I then moved to Dubai with my mum, dad, and sister, Lily. Whilst living in Dubai my little brother, Oscar, was born. In 2014 my family and I moved back to Bramley where I started going to church and started year 8 at Duke of Kent School in Ewhurst. I met my best friends there who have remained my best friends ever since and I think may be my best friends for life.

I’ve just finished my level 3 diploma in Songwriting at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where I collaborated with friends, and thrived in my songwriting abilities. Alongside my work here at church, I collaborate with different small artists helping them to write songs and produce their tracks for the world to hear. My hobbies include reading, fitness and I’m a bit of a watch enthusiast (my favourites watches at the moment being a Paul Newman Daytona or Omega Speedmaster), but my main passion, as you may have guessed, is music.

I hope to meet and see everyone in church again soon!
