Harvest Sunday Services

This Sunday we celebrate Harvest at Wonersh with two special services. Our 9am service will include Communion and we will enjoy some Harvest hymns. James Cooke will be preaching. Our 10.45 will be suitable for all ages and there will be a children's activity - we will also be hearing from Hermione Menges who spent some time in Africa over the summer and she will share some of her experiences with us.

We are also holding a Harvest Morning Praise service at Blackheath Church, starting at 10:00.
At Harvest we give thanks for all that God has given us and what better way to respond than to give to those less fortunate than ourselves. We like to support local charities at Harvest and this year there are 2 ways in which you can do this at Wonersh Church:

Bring some produce for the Food Bank - they especially need
- Fruit juice, Squash
- Drinking Chocolate
- Coffee
- Household Cleaning products
- Longlife Milk
- Sponge Puddings; Jellies etc
- Sugar
- Tinned Custard
- Flour
- Jam

The second way is to support financially the work of Guildford YMCA and their new Foyer hostel project. Many of you will have heard Chas and Lucy speak in church about this expanded hostel for young people and we would love to help furnish and equip a room. There will be a basket for donations in the church porch along with gift-aid envelopes. Cheques should be made payable to Wonersh with Blackheath PCC.
