Our Lent Courses for 2017

During the season of Lent we are offering a range of courses which are open to everyone. The aim of this courses is to offer each of us the opportunity to delve deeper into our faith as a community and to support each other along our individual journeys.

Below is a list of what is on offer with dates, times, venue and a brief description of each. You are welcome to attend more than one course/event. We require a minimum of 6 people for each in order to run it. For a more detailed insight into a course please contact the person/people running that course.

To register an interest in a particular course please contact Kia Pakenham (07971077664 or email: kiapakenham@icloud.com).

This will involve just two meetings (both with tea and cake!). The first will be to meet each other and discuss any prior knowledge of the book and the second will be to share experiences, thoughts and reflections following reading.

To help with our time of reflection and pausing over lent we would like to encourage you to take advantage of St Martins in Blackheath which is open daily and is a great space for quiet contemplative prayer during this season. On Ash Wednesday Debbie will be holding a meditative service at St Martins from 8pm.

Wonersh Church will be open during the day from the 10th – 13th April for quiet reflection with prayer stations.
14th March there will be an Encounter service, again with a reflective mood.

Our hope is that this programme of events will enable us to delve deeper together in our faith while learning and growing in our knowledge and love of Christ.
